Power Starts With Strong Skating

What is CanPowerSkate?

CanPowerSkate is Skate Canada’s nationally recognized power skating program, designed specifically for hockey players. Rather than focusing on sticks, pucks and game strategy, the program focuses on the skating skills behind the game.

Players develop stronger edges, quicker starts, more efficient strides, better stops and turns, and greater control at speed—all skills that translate directly to improved performance on the ice.

Power & Speed

Build stronger strides, explosive starts and efficient acceleration.

Control & Agility

Develop the balance, edge control and quick directional changes needed during game play.

Game-Ready Skills

Practice skating techniques and performance drills designed to translate to real game situations.
